growing up

nine years ago today i was on my way to remuda ranch, a treatment center for eating disorders.

today, i am working at the elisa project, a non-profit dedicated to the effective treatment and prevention of eating disorders.
i am literally working at a place who spends all their time working to prevent and provide treatment for those who are suffering.


it's really crazy how things work sometimes.

even with all the chaos that is my life, the imperfections, struggles, challenges, and days when i think i can no longer do anything anymore, i will take the time today to soak up all of the wonderful opportunities i have gotten and continue to be apart of and BE THANKFUL. even when difficult, i am learning and growing, and most importantly becoming the person i am meant to be.
