since we are normally in chicago for christmas and sometimes new years, we missed our normal christmas-new year traditions, like eating our aunt aimee's delicious food. so on new years day, lindsay and i decided to make a couple of our aunt's classic recipes including hanky-pankys and risotto balls.
total time: 4 hrs (at least).
| blending spinach |
| squeezing spinach... i forgot the fancy term for this. |
| classic rootbeer |
| please notice our working conditions. a) teeny tiny kitchen b) no paper towels. |
| finished product! |
| please notice time of completion. this was supposed to be dinner! |
i still don't think these pictures capture the monumental occasion. nonetheless, it was fun and maybe i'll try it again in a few years.
so delicious good work ladies, too bad my clothes still smell like them.
